BEING A CREATIVE IS TOUGH.

The late nights. The judgey family members. The crippling self-doubt. The spreadsheets. The crying in the shower. The menty-b when you’ve eaten nothing but toast and cortisol for three days.

I get it.

Three years ago, a painter slid into my DMs with questions about the art market, showing up online, and pitching his first exhibition. He asked if we could chat for a few hours. That painter now exhibits internationally, and coaching sort of… found me.

Since then, I’ve had the total and utter joy of supporting painters, fashion designers, illustrators, digital creators, influencers, visual storytellers, and small business owners who all want the same thing:

To carve out sustainable, nourishing creative lives.
Lives with clarity, confidence, structure, and JOY.

this is me, and here’s what to expect.

This is deep, tailored support that is as practical as it is personal. Think of me as your sounding board, strategy partner, creative champion, critical friend, and major hype gurl.

What matters most? That your practice feels nourishing. That your work has room to breathe. That you have the support you need to navigate the sticky, strange, exhilarating terrain of the creative world.

I’ve got a Fine Art degree, a coaching diploma, and an insatiable curiosity that means I’m constantly learning (and sharing). Working with me will include:

  • Summarising the latest research and applying it directly to your situation.

  • Sending you bespoke reading lists, resources, and cheeky voice notes.

  • Helping you find calm in the chaos and build a creative system that actually works for your life.

Because creativity is health. And it deserves to be treated as such.

A few things we might do together:

✰ Audit your socials and website, refresh and update them, come up with ideas and a sustainable digital strategy that actually feels and sounds like you.

✰ Work on short term or long term creative goals, unblock the sticky bits, and declutter your mind and space together.

✰ I’d love to pass on skills such as video editing, website maintenance, and public speaking to empower you to lean in and step out!

✰ Write pitches, pull together portfolios, write applications or prepare for interviews.

✰ Reflect and reset monthly, quarterly, or yearly and map out strategic and sustainable goals that take into account your whole being.

Well, that’s a few things I’ve done with people lately, there’s defo more…. so just ask! And if I can’t help you, I’ll know someone who can! THAT’S a promise.

→ Applications for funding, grants, and residencies, including portfolio reviews and interview prep.

→ Organising and preparing a body of work for a show proposal, exhibition, etc.

→ Giving your websites and social media accounts some TLC.

  • The Power Hour is a focused 1:1 session to get clarity or momentum on a specific thing (a decision, a pitch, a project block). Ongoing coaching gives us space over time to go deeper, whether that’s creative recovery, building a body of work, or shifting your mindset.

  • I work with early‑career artists, independent creatives, multidisciplinary thinkers, and people juggling work and art. My clients include illustrators, writers, youth workers, educators, set designers, and burnt‑out freelancers!

  • Yes, absolutely! Lots of people start with a Power Hour and then decide if they’d like to continue. No pressure, ever.

  • I want this work to be accessible. Let me know if cost is a barrier, and we can talk about what feels fair and workable.

eT MOI?

  • I love a system (especially ones that leave room for joy, spontaneity, and naps) and a pale blue sweater vest.

  • I believe your creative work deserves support, not just in the making, but in the sustaining.

  • I’m reallyyy here for the sticky bits and the shiny bits and all the messy bits in between.

  • If you bring the questions, I’ll bring the iced matcha, the notes, the frameworks, and the metaphors that live in your brain rent free. Let’s make your creativity feel like yours again.

Since our first meeting, I felt at ease and comfortable sharing what I needed from the sessions. We decided where to meet that worked for us both, normally a cute cafe or interesting bookshop, grabbed a coffee and had what seemed like a chat between friends, an informal conversation, except it was full of brilliant ideas, advice and amazing content I could take with me and put into action.

JUST SOME MORE KIND WORDS

Phoebe always followed up with detailed emails and checked in on me between sessions, giving me little inspirational emails or encouragement to work towards my goals.

Ashley, Creative Business Owner

Phoebe is driven and clever and will be able to give guidance with whatever it is you need help with. Personally, I struggle with communication and I sought her help with a text-heavy application - I got the interview and also a clearer understanding of how to present myself going forward. So grateful.

Angelica, Artist

Phoebes' advice was wonderful, it gave me a new understanding of my social media and lots of clear, actionable items to follow. Even a few months later the conversation we had is still helping to guide my actions with my communications. I would highly recommend having a 1:1 session with any artist looking to level up their Instagram.

Mike, Painter

To any artists/creatives out there I would actively encourage you to book a meeting with Phoebe, even if you think you don't need one, she will bring out of you something you didn't know you had or needed!

Grace, Sculptor

Phoebe is a miraculous and unusual being capable of much! She's an artist herself, and she also has the insight, knowledge and experience within other aspects of the art world that you might expect from a curator/advisor decades into their career.

Morag, Painter

All of Phoebe’s pointers and suggestions have been super helpful and I really enjoyed our meet-ups :) She was very generous with her time, I felt optimistic and encouraged after each meeting, and what we discussed plus the notes she sent after had a lot of actionable/doable stuff.

Jessie, Artist

I booked three one-hour sessions with Phoebe and I can say that they have completely changed my outlook on what I am capable of[able of achieving. I no longer worry about reaching out to people for fear of rejection, I have more confidence in my practice and my power as an artist. This is all down to Phoebe’s wonderful way of working, her pure energy and genuine interest in my practice and her ability to give sound advice without dictating what route you should be taking. She is wise beyond her years and if you get the chance to work with her you should absolutely jump at the chance.

Lisa, Painter

Working with Phoebe allows me the space to experiment and expand my creative process by focusing on work that challenges me while ensuring I maintain clarity from a personal and academic perspective.
